Hayesville Elementary is named for the Hayesville area in Salem, where the school is located. That area was named after the Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th president of the United States.
Hayesville opened in 1963. We are a kindergarten through fifth grade school, with an average enrollment of around 460 students. Preschool is also offered at our school.
Bilingual services are available.
The school’s mascot is the Tiger.
